Working with UK Research & Innovation, a new organisation that needed a new IT system.
In 2018, UKRI was established as a new organisation and with that came the need for a brand new IT system to help them work efficiently from day one.
UKRI wanted a modern IT system, one that was alligned their ‘Cloud First’ vision of addopting cloud-based services wherever possible and therefore keeping infrastructure to a minimum. It was absolutely vital that the new IT system was ready from day one, which meant the service needed to be available in under 6 months.
We worked closely with the customer during the initial discovery, to capture their busineses requirements.
We designed a new IT system that met the business requirements, and also adopted cloud-based services where appropriate.
The team designed and deployed the technical architecture to provide the business with everything they needed to work effectively as an organisation from day one.
The project was delivered on-time, with the new IT system going live within 6 months.
Staff were able to work from day one, having received an introduction and overview of their new IT service by the team, working alongside internal support staff.
The project was a success, and the organisation set to work with a reliable IT system that allowed staff to work together efficiently and productively.
